Effective April 28, C.A.R. is introducing 5 new forms and updating 11 existing forms.
- HEAA, that was attached to the NODPA, has been discontinued.
- Portions of the HEAA (excluding Agency and Referral Licensee compensation) have been incorporated into the body of the NODPA in a new paragraph, # 30. The Agency paragraph that appears in other C.A.R. contracts has been added to the NODPA as paragraph 27.
- A new form, Declaration and Proof of Real Estate License (DPL), has been added. The purpose of this new form is to allow the buyer's agent (and, if applicable, the employing broker) to comply with the statutory requirement to declare and prove their licensed status. The modified NODPA will now include the DPL, NODPA, and HENC, none of which will be sold separately.
C.A.R. is hosting a sample of only these forms for reference via this link http://www.car.org/index.php?id=Mzg0MDk= for those Members who require the DPL Form for transactions between now and April 28, when the all April forms revisions will be available. Members will be able to access only DPL, NODPA, and HENC via WINForms at the beginning of next week. All other new and revised April Forms will be available on April 28th.
